Branch Head Librarian - B.J. Chain Public Library, Olive Branch, MS (First Regional Library)
The First Regional Library System is seeking a dynamic, positive leader to serve as Branch Head Librarian for its largest branch, B.J. Chain Public Library in Olive Branch, Mississippi.

First Regional Library is an award-winning five county/fourteen branch public library system headquartered in DeSoto County, Mississippi. Our 100+ staff members are dedicated to excellent customer service, innovative programming, and providing a comfortable, welcoming environment for our patrons.
DeSoto County is one of the fastest-growing areas in Mississippi. Amazon, Google, and FedEx have all established operation centers in this service area, due to its great location, wonderful educational opportunities, natural beauty, and progressive communities.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited university required.
- Minimum of five years of professional, public library experience and managerial experience required.
Salary & Benefits:
- Starting salary $65,000 to $70,000.
- Benefits include life insurance, dental, vision, and free medical insurance.

- Participation in Mississippi State Retirement Plan.
