General Consultant - MS Library Commission

This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working directly with Mississippi’s public libraries. The General Consultant will provide advice, guidance, and training to help libraries address operational and library development needs. The position will also stay informed about state and federal laws, best practices, and emerging trends in the library field.

The General Consultant will lead and participate in workshops, training sessions, and special events for library professionals across Mississippi, both in person and virtually. This role does require an MLIS degree and public library experience.
